They are not 100% clear in your question.
If you receive a notification when an e-mail in your mailbox, you might UNFUNDED luck. If your ISP or the acquiring company has a service you probably need subscrinbe because I am sure you will be charged.
If you MTN na e-mail, and then put the receiver to receive e-mail, then you should check the manual for your phone. In otherhabd if you have your PC for e-mail below MTN, which some type of service for which you can apply, can be configured, but MTN will, I doubt it.
I have my friend's phone for Vodacom SA is configured, and has seen all wainting, as they get passed through. The phone is a sound just like normal SMS.
Go to the offices of MTN and ask them to give you good advice
